The necessary but not-to-be-dreaded paperwork
While there is paperwork that I need you to fill out, please don’t hold it against me! There are not so many forms to return, & I need them to be able to conduct business ethically & transparently. Please ensure you select the correct forms for the service you’ve booked. To download a form, click on the name of that form. For forms with multiple versions, click the variation’s name (for example, if you’re getting a reading, click on the Readings version of the form). For the Application & New Client Form, click the provided links.
If you are interested in either tarot coaching or life coaching, you’ll first need to fill out an APPLICATION. I’ll get back to you within 72 hours of receiving it to let you know if you’d be a good fit for the program. If you are, you’ll book the CLARIFY & CONNECT session for tarot coaching or the GROUND & FLOW session for life coaching. Those discovery calls will let us know for sure if we are good fits for each other. For readings, request your Discovery Call (a phone call where we discuss the different readings you have to choose from, get your questions answered & tell you about my reading style & approach) by completing the APPLICATION then filling out the rest of the necessary paperwork.
Once you are an official client, you will download my Consent Form, my CODE OF ETHICS for either READINGS , or COACHING, (depending on which service you’re booking — & for Transformational Tarot Coaching, you’ll need to sign both the Readings & the Coaching forms), my Reader/Coach Client Agreement, & my NEW CLIENT FORM. These documents outline my policies, your commitment to receive a reading, tarot coaching or life coaching session, what we can expect from one another, how I conduct business & information I need to know about you. Please read all these documents carefully. You’ll need to download & sign the Code of Ethics Reading, or Code of Ethics Coaching, the Consent Form, & the Reader/Coach Client Agreement & fill out the NEW CLIENT FORM at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you have any questions about the contents of these documents, don’t hesitate to contact me at raven@intheotherviary.com.
You’ll have two options for completing this paperwork other than the Application & NEW CLIENT FORM. The preferred method is to open each PDF & type into the designated text boxes, then esign where you need to. Then you’ll email them to raven@intheotherviary.com with the subject line in the following format:[GivenName_Paperwork].
Alternatively, you can print the necessary forms, fill them out by hand, & then scan them back into your computer as PDFs. Then you’ll email them to raven@intheotherviary.com with the subject line in the following format: [GivenName_Paperwork]. The reason this way is not the preferred way to do the paperwork is because there are people whose handwriting is difficult to read. If you choose to complete the paperwork this way, please ensure that you print everything clearly.
How to Pay
Please use the “buy now” button (whatever the text reads) at the bottom of that service’s listing to schedule & pay for your service. If you choose not to pay in full at that time, be sure to select the payment plan you want from those available. If there isn’t a day & time available that works for you, please email me at raven@intotheaviary.com & we’ll try to arrange something that’ll work for both of us. For products, use the at “buy now” button (whatever the text reads) for that product & follow the prompts. You’ll receive your product shortly after paying, via email.
How to get the best results from my Services
To get the best results from my services, I suggest you do the things listed in Before Every Session or Reading… below, in addition to the following:

- Check out our social feeds often or follow us,
- Ask any questions you have about me or my services & products,
- Be willing to do all the necessary hard work to achieve a true transformation,
- Participate fully in every session, open to whatever might happen or come up,
- Crave learning (more) about who you are, what you truly want & need, & how to achieve your goals,
- Be willing to co-create sessions & readings with me,
- Be willing to listen to feedback & suggestions with an open mind & heart,
- Be open to getting out of your comfort zone!
Before Every Session or Reading, Please…
Please try to complete these before each of our sessions together!
Please silence all electronic devices & put away any other possible distractions. I want to stress the importance of this & that it shows us the respect we’re each due. I won’t have my phone on or be reading emails while we talk. My relationship with my clients deserves my full attention & I want those clients to succeed! You want to succeed, too; otherwise, why book a reading or coaching session with me?
One of the best ways to be present is to be grounded. What does grounded mean? Being grounded means that you’re present in your body & open to experiences. Why is this necessary? When we’re grounded, we are more confident in ourselves & our responses, we approach everything with a sense of calm & observation, & we tend to be more in touch with ourselves & our bodies. How can you ground yourself? There are literally dozens of techniques for grounding yourself. Most involve using your physical senses (touch, sight, hearing, taste & smell) to engage you, though deep breathing is also a great technique. Being grounded will also allow you to push off stress & anxiety & help you take a step back from your feelings & experiences so you’re better able to see them for what they are. You want to choose a way to get grounded that makes you feel safe, calm, happy & open. If you’re unfamiliar with ways to ground yourself, please research to see what method(s) work best for you!
The last thing I’d recommend is setting an intention for each & every reading or session you do! According to Wikipedia, an intention is “…a mental state in which a person commits themselves to a course of action”. Why is this important? Setting an intention for the work you’re about to do not only gets you into the best frame of mind for the activities ahead of you but also tells the Universe what you’re hoping to gain from or achieve with that work. My intention for myself is always, “Please help me guide this person to their highest good”. Try to always set an intention (whether it’s different every time or not) by saying what you want & hope for out loud, at least until you’re more accustomed to setting them. After that, saying them in your head is fine.
How to join us in-flight
When you book & pay for your service, you will be sent a link for our meeting, which will be held in Zoho Meeting. All you need to do is click the link I’ll send, allow the program access to your camera & microphone & then click “Join” so I know you’re on the call. You are not required to have an account or download anything.
What if Mercury is in Retrograde?
I vastly prefer doing my readings & coaching sessions over video. (Our first session or reading must be done over video, at least.) I’ll be able to help you better if I can see you. However, suppose Mercury is in retrograde & computers aren’t working, including Zoho Meeting (my video app). In that case, we can either reschedule or conduct a one-time phone appointment (assuming phones are working), which I’ll try to record.
